Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We hope you had a productive and successful 2017-2018 season -- all things choreographic! This is our last mailing before the summer begins. We will resume our updates at the end of August or early September. 

If you’re planning to see outstanding choreographic work here in the U.S. this summer, we strongly recommend venues such as Jacob’s Pillow and American Dance Festival, as well as performances presented by our partners, the Joyce Theater and City Center in New York City.

 
Internationally, we recommend seeing some great choreography at the Montpellier Danse Festival and Edinburgh International Festival, as well as attending the largest summer gathering of contemporary dance choreographers at Tanzmesse Dusseldorf. Dance ICONS, Inc. will be there!

 
We will continue to make announcements about the annual choreography awards and grants, such as the Washington Award, Pina Bausch Fellowship in Dance and Choreography,  as well as Kurt Joss Choreography Award…more information to come.
